OC R5 1600 using the stock cooler (Wraith Spire) on reasonably cheap motherboard.

If you already have a usable cooler and would have to buy a non-trivially more expensive motherboard to OC the R5 1600, stick to cheaper mobo instead and buy R5 1600X as it isn't much more expensive.

The pricing is weird in Canada. One retailer is selling R7 1700's for $408 CAD but their preorder price for R5 1600's was $300. The price gap seems much smaller than what AMD was advertising.
