580: On new pcb with xtx designation
improved vrm cooling, ram @8000mhz
1340mhz boost clock
570: On existing 480 pcb, ram bumped to
7000mhz, 1240 boost clock
560: full fat 460 pcb, 1024sp, 1287mhz boost
clock, 4gb only
550: ??? low spec when the 560 is targeted at
<$99, I think this will be about the same
performance as the new apu igp and this will be
marketed as a basic display adapter for ryzen
and a dual graphics/hybrid xfire card for the new lineup.
Slightly lower pricing rumored across the polaris line

where did you those clocks? I was going to post that I saw clocks at 1500 for the rebrandeons, but it was from the clueless commentators.

might very well be possible, comparing the reference 580 and the asus strix 480
blower 580: 1340 boost clock
Strix 480: 1330 in oc model
580 has an 8 pin, better vrm and the new LPP process is supposed to be 15% more efficient. even if we see the same factory clock increase from the aftermarket as we did on 400 series decent 580s should be around 1400mhz out of the box

this is just the reference blower card, and it's still 10mhz faster than the strix oc, I don't think 1500mhz manual clocks are an unreasonable goal.
These are no upgrade for current 400 owners, but they are price targeted lower for new buyers. If you are considering a 480/1060 I would wait for benches. even if it's the same, 400s should get discounted to move stock.
Poorfags and parents are going to eat up R3 and 560 combos. under $300 cpu/cooler/mobo/gpu? 4c/4t, 4gb vram, going to look like an i5 and 1050ti to normies on the best buy tag.

no, 580 might close the gap in a few titles but the 1070 will still be a stronger card. Only a cut vega will be any real competition
