I am self-DJing a wedding and want to know how to tell if my sound system is going to work? It sounds great at home, but maybe at the reception venue it'll be different? The venue fits 100 people. We will have about 85 in attendance. I just want it to be loud enough on the dance floor. The sound system I have is the vizio sound bar s3851w-d4. It has a max of 102 dB. If you need any more information, let me know.

not a chance
rent a small PA system
No fucking way.
Is this bait
>>59724849
Are you retarded? No fucking way.
No, not bait. Honestly wondering. Can you help me understand why? I'm seriously curious to learn.

Because it's not fucking loud enough and won't project sound. It will be tiny as fuck coming out of one tiny location.

OK, what would you recommend? For, say, a 10' by 12' dancefloor?

I don't have any experience or recommendations for pa systems, all I have are hobby built systems similar to the one you posted in the op in sound level and I know it's not enough.

two 10/12"+compression horm 60x90° tops and a pair of 15/18" subs with sufficient amping
just ask any rental service
Nope. I have a Yamaha YSP 800 in the spare room, and even that f'n monster wouldn't be enough
I DJ wedding professionally. Rent a fucking speaker system. It's not that expensive.

microlab my friend
I had the Solo 6C drowning out a party with a couple dozen people. They would be fine for a dancefloor.
Just go fuckin hire something from a party rental place, itll cost you fuck all and youll get more than what you need
