So /g/ are you able to answer this question? Let us see.
(This is not homework btw, I promise)
There is no question

Maybe I should have made myself more clear.
The question is the image posted on OP >>59723273
The question is actually 'What are following components in the boxes A,B,C,D and E?'
Something something DRAM, caches and branch predictor?
>>59723408
Nice try, this diagram is a basic overview of main components in the CPU caches can be ignored. DRAM/RAM is not found inside the CPU. There are much more essential components than the ones you have stated.
>>59723550
A and E are outside the CPU though
A immediate input
B register file
C cpu
D intruction decoder/pointer
E ram
>>59723550
At a high level CPUs are made out of a memory controller, cores, caches, uncore, and I/O
Going lower you got fpu/alu/agu, prefetch, registers, load/store/retire, decoders, etcetc
Then even lower you got power management and clock domains
The picture in the OP doesn't explain much to me
>>59723631
I thought the previous answer was stating them in order. Yes, there exists RAM on here though.
>>59723692
On the diagram CPU is already stated, almost though.

The picture doesn't explain much, I agree with you. This picture was an actual exam question given to 15-16 year olds to answer. This question is tough especially when they don't give any possible options.
Anyways yes it is lower at level as you mentioned, but not too low and do not need to bother about power management and clock.
