If you make a computer that's limited to use only by other people in technical fields then you just described a company that makes super computers. Apple makes computer products and services that are meant to be used by a wide variety of people so it needs to know how to serve those sets of needs. To build a plane you need resources, how to fuck do you ensure that you're getting cheap titanium from China without an interpreter and couple lawfags and businessfags ensuring that it's the right shit, under right condition, and it actually gets delivered? Who will find the most affordable titanium? Who trains and teaches all these guys in the first place? Where the fuck do you even get the money and get the contract? Who ensures that contracts are actually worth something and not just a piece of paper? Who decides what kind of plane it's going to be in the first place? Who makes the market research to know whether there is a need to build more planes? Who decides on your pay and working hours, whether you're qualified enough to design that shit in the first place? Who trains the people who will fly it?

The more interesting side is how art like literature or movies or even fucking comics inspire people in the first place. Tons of our recent technology was niggered from sci fi and somebody has to make anime to keep your sad ass from killing yourself too.
