I need a laptop for uni/work.
I'm going to do a lot of work in finite elements for fluids and shit (and also draw on big canvas on photoshop).
What's the best laptop that I can buy for this and are the Dell the best (especially the xeon/quadro Precision).
As light and small as possible with a decent screen size.

Yeah dell xps should be great also thinkpad and macbook it won't matter which you take you can't go wrong with any of these. Also waiting for fags saying one of these is bad because they never used it etc...

The computing power between the XPS 15 and Precision 5520 is practically identical. You might some performance boost from the 5520 since its using Quadro hardware/drivers that are optimized for fluid analysis and shit. But in pure computing power, they'll be largely the same.
