I've gotten laptop pull 2.5" HDDs and stuck them in $15 USB 3.0 enclosures and gotten full speed, so you may need to fool around with it

I'm happy with the headphones I've bought after reading about them on /g/. I'm happy I got a mechanical keyboard. I've been happy with most of the peripherals I've bought after discovering them here. I would always recommend a NVMe SSD over SATA. Laptops are shit. Tablets are shit. Smartphones are necessary evil. Ryzen is good.

Why are people ITT talking about the DT880's as if they're supposed to have a frequency response that enhances/embellishes.

They're Studio monitor headphones. Keyword Monitor. They give you the most honest version of your music, if you want bass boosted headphones get beats by dre. Look at the frequency chart, for Christ sake. These headphones are producing music and listening to it critically. If you don't work with audio, get something that is EQ'd and holds your hand. Why are retards buying things they don't understand the purpose, then complain as if there's a problem with the gear itself?

I grew out of the rice aesthetic, I rarely game on my pc anymore, and the headset kept crashing.

It would have been better long-term if I just got a high quality multi-purpose peripherals rather than buying into brand-worship and gaymer culture.

Also, because it was so big I had to put it down on my carpet rather than my desk.

I need to reply again, because the confident manner in which you all are talking about headphones that are actually good really irks me. You all probably don't understand they high ohms require more power, so you're probably not amplifying them enough. You can't just plug these into a phone. Buy a DAC.

They do make a 32 ohms version to try and appeal to brain dead retards. They end gutting the sound so you can use them without a dac to plug into your ipod. That kind of defeats the purpose of the headphones. The low ohm version of the 880's are bad. The 660ohms version require so much amplification that unless you have something really expensive you won't get them to sound right. The 250 ohm versions sound as good as the 600 with less amplification. These are the ones you should be getting.

Will you fucking gamer trash just by a gaming headset tailored for your retarded needs, so we don't have to explain why you're wrong and stupid for buying something you don't understand?
