Yes. I started off wanting more power, and vlc was great. But now I see it for the bloated pos it is. MVP just works, has the features it needs, and it just works.

Vlc sometimes runs corrupt video others wont run, but its seeking artifacts are fucking annoying so I avoid it

MPC-HC is the best.

VLC is nice overall, but the performance at 4k or 60 fps videos is pretty bad... even the Photo Viewer app from Windows 10 gave smoother results for me. This was on a GTS450. A few days ago I switched to my new GTX1060 and the problem is gone..

Imo the best would be a combination between VLC and MPCHC. The interface and options from VLC but the core/codecs from MPCHC
