I installed gentoo
>>59688712
I didnt.
Install solus
>>59688732
install gentoo
I do too. I liked Funtoo as well, but in the end I went with debian, it's less work.
Do it again.
>>59688741
Is it worth it? Ubuntu just werks
>>59688754
I did.
>>59688757
Install funtoo
>>59688735
This.
pics or it didn't happen
>>59688712
Now install virtualbox and install gentoo in gentoo.
>>59688712
Congratulation! How long to switch? Are you happy?
>>59689651
Virtualbox on GNU/Linux is a meme, just use libvirt/kvm/qemu.
>>59690023
What's the difference between kvm and qemu? I've only heard of kvm so far.
>>59688712
You fell for a meme
Gentoo sucks ass
>>59690285
KVM was originally a fork of qemu I believe but turned into a mainline kernel module, focusing mostly on that guest separation. Qemu still focuses primarily on device/peripheral emulation. I believe they are often used in conjunction, but eventually all functionality might be included in the kernel.
>>59688712
Most obvious aprils fools I've seen today.
No one installs Gentoo and lives to tell the tale.
>>59688735
What is your real opinion on solus?
I'm impressed.
Installing Gentoo is the easy part.
Then you get to have fun diagnosing emerge errors, use flag constraints, package dependencies, and compiler errors forever.
>>59694879
stop getting meta packages
Install LFS
