I mean you can get a usb-c to HDMI, but I don't think micro would work.

And you wouldn't connect it to the monitor you autismo. You'd have to connect it to the phone. Battery life would be cut into 1/10 what it normally is, and your phone would probably overheat, but sure. Fuck it.

In short, this is not a good idea.

Just get a tiny little PC like a Mac Mini or make a pi box. You get the gist. Then you can SSH into your phone that way. Much better and easier.

Just pony up some cash. Or even better, don't be a special snowflake and buy a second hand laptop. All you'd really need to upgrade RAM to 8gb and get a 2.5 inch SSD to replace the hard disk.

I've connected my HTC M8 to a monitor with a MHL adapter and used a bluetooth mouse and keyboard. It works fine, but I don't really have a use for it.
