I have one question, how hard will this flop?
In case you haven't seen it yet:

Finally an honest kickstarter name
cheap A4 e-ink tablet with decent resolution is the dream
pity anything that size is a meme
Just buy a Tab S3
Just saw the price, currently at 429$, freakin' ridiculous.

The writing latency is absolutely horrible.
I can't see anyone seriously wanting to use it for sketching because "it feels like paper!" isn't something artists care that much about, the fact that it has to update the entire display to undo/delete any mistakes because that's how eInk works is a massive drawback when it comes to sketching.
When it comes down to it the main feature is just an eReader and it's too expensive for that.

using 'it feels like paper!' as a marketing gimmick is just disingenuous. most modern drawing tablets (if not all, but that's impossible to verify) have a slightly textured surface that roughly mimics paper and the nibs on tablet pens are designed to wear out like you'd expect from a pencil, albeit at a much slower rate.
So long as it forces other competitors to lower the prices, gets enough attention to make Apple want to enter the e-reader segment and even further force competition and price reduction;
i don't matter whether it flops so long as it has an effect.
I want a proper e-reader with proper palm-rejection software so i can writer and sketch properly, and i want it as soon as possible and not costing 700 fucking dollars like Sony Jews with.

>i don't matter
That's right, at least.
