I do that, but have it arranged as KB-numpad-mouse

this came about because I fell for the tenkeyless meme and found the lack of a numpad annoying so I got a numpad instead of replacing my new keyboard.

I'm autistic so I have a numpad on my mouse.

If there was a decently priced keyboard around that didn't have numpad, sure. I really would like to get rid of arrow keys too but nowhere else to put those extra buttons on a decent layout.

Not anymore. I use it for browser shortcuts and other general hotkeys now.

put the numpad to the left of the keyboard

drawing tablet - keyboard - trackball - trackpad

I have every key separate instead of a full keyboard.
