Hmmph. Not bad kid. Not bad. Great sensor. Nice ergonomics. I'll give you that. But wait till you see THIS.
>>

Doesn't this have a problem with the scroll wheel breaking after a few months?
>>
A thread died for this.

>>59677628
I believe it is the only good product they make, possibly their laptop as well. I think it was outdone by the current good mice, the g403, Zowies, and Mionix castor. If you love the intellimouse shape then the death adder is the way to go but I like huge ergonomic mice.
>>59677691
I want one so fucking bad but I'm under the impression that the sensor is noticeably bad even for people that play FPS casually like I do.

This new one actually looks like it might be.

https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Triathalon-Multi-Device-Wireless-910-004790/

Actually has a button that isn't on the bottom of the mouse for the quick switch so I'm thinking of getting it. Really fucking stupid that they don't let you program that for the MX Master so I could switch via the thumb button.

I hate this mouse. It's too fucking big for any normal hand and you have to move it around like a flatiron.
The forward and back buttons are too far behind and the stupid thumbrest is just in the way of everything. My wrist hurts after 15 minutes of using this thing.
Can't believe I got tricked into buying this shit. Went back to my G9x 2 days after buying it.

>>

>>59681960

if it's anything like the g pro, they ruined a stupidly good and light mouse by giving it a ridiculously heavy braided cable for literally no good reason

I know some of their mice in the past had a problem with the cable being the failure point but I'd take a cable I MIGHT have to replace in 5 years to a cable that drags the mouse around when you let go or a cable that catches on sharp mousemat edges any day of the week

>>59687116
>Is it a good replacement for G400S or MX518?

it's supposed to be a little bigger than the g400 but more comfortable, if you like the hand feel of the g400s I'd say go for it (otherwise the slightly ligher, much smaller, slightly more expensive g pro which is a replacement of the g100 is also a good option)

Well if it's anything like the 900 you'll only have to charge it for about an hour every 3 days. You can still use it as a wired mouse while it's charging too.
>>

>>

Well I use it for around 8 hours when I get home from work. So it actually gets around 24 hours of actual use. While it idles for stretches of up to 15 hours while I sleep/work.
>>
>>59690903
I use a mouse for around 8 hours a day also, maybe 9.
>>
>>59691007

This has gotten me interested in how long it would last if I actually turned it off when not in use. I think I'm going to try that next charge cycle.
>>
>>59691040
It would extend it quite a bit. The sensor is always on even when not in use, so if you turn it off it should give you a day or so of extra use.

the only thing that put me off on the g900 was the shape looks like it's a dust magnet, I'd have preferred the extra buttons though

Castor isn't a bad mouse, I just have minor nitpicky issues with it.

Barely a month into it and I can already feel a difference in the side rubber, can only imagine how much more more it'll wear down. The location of the switch for left click feels odd for how I grip my mouse, kinda difficult to explain. Had to altar my grip so I was clicking exactly above the switch, otherwise I was missing come clicks by not pressing down hard enough. Not really an issue with the mouse, just my admittedly odd grip that doesn't mesh well with the castor design.

really? it impresses you? there are earbuds out there that last hours and hours and transfer enough data to stream audio continuously, and this thing is massive compared to those, and only needs to send coordinate deltas and some other very small scale data.

it's not complete shit, but it's also nothing impressive. mouse makers could make it much, much better if they were willing to make the mouse a bit heavier

You should probably go ahead and kys anon, you committed a logical fallacy.

Ah that's unfortunate man, I can't say I've had any issues with this so far, I'm around 6 months in

Not even fucking close. This part in particular is very unergonomic.

Try a properly designed ergonomic mouse, something like >>59692629
for example, and you'll see the difference.

Even a generic simple office mouse is nicer to hold than the Deathadder.

Although the Ikari is probably a better example. Less exposed sharp edges and gaps.

MX518 user here. It seems to be dying though.

Hows similar is the G403 in form? Thinking of upgrading to one of them.

Ex MX518 user here.

Mine still works, but before I found out I could fix it yet again I had already ordered an XM300. It's like a Deathadder/G403, design wise (another MS design clone).

New shape takes some getting used to, and I tend to palm grip more often than finger grip now, but I'd say the shape feels better. I only kinda miss the two fast scroll up and down buttons. What I don't miss are the logitech drivers.

MX518 still lying on the table here, but I don't really feel any desire to connect it. If the G403 is any better than mine, which I assume it is considering the price, I'd say go for it.

I thought so too. Until I started using it for several minutes. It's uncomfortable to move about. Too much resistance. Feels sore on the pinky finger. Returned mine.

I enjoy my Logitech Mx500

Can you program one of the side buttons to act as a control key?

The mouse /g/ loves to hate, gonna miss them, they made a really comfortable mouse, and triggering blandcucks was just gravy

Love this mouse and want to compare it to the G900.
It's a light mouse which I love.

I bought my death adder in a goodwill about 5 years ago. 2011 model. Still works great today. Only costed me $2.
