And it seems only based ASrock gives a fuck about it.
Now, how would a underclocked 1700 or some cheapo R5 fare as a FreeNAS or pfsense box? It seems to have more than enough IPC for Snort as well.
Or would waiting for cheap quad channel platforms be a better idea since you can stick a shitload of DIMMs there? With a planner 30TB ZFS pool, I think I'll need a bit more than 4 DIMM slots.

ASrock has been my favorite for the last 5 years.
Cheaper, usually more shit than competition, good on BIOS updates unlike Gigashit and MSI.
