My psu had literal fire coming out of it from dust. (Old computer bootup)

Funny enough i had a PSU starting to act funky after several power outages, it got blazing hot and yet still worked but had to replace it because it literally made the other components shut down due to the temperature inside the case all while raising room temperature by 25 degrees

I still wonder how nothing caught fire
