My S5 still gets security updates, it does everything I need it to do reasonably well, it's got more features than the next model up from it and a replacement one is less than $150 if it breaks. Sure, it's not as speedy as the latest Galaxy models or great for 3D rendering, but as a phone/media device it's suitable.
