Hey /g/

So I'm looking to make a temperature controller for my stove using Arduino (it's what I have, so it's what I'll settle for).

On hand, the SSRs I have are pretty tiny. They're NT72C-S10 (pic related)

Here's the closest data sheet on them I could find:

http://www.mantech.co.za/ProductInfo.aspx?Item=82M0477

Is it possible to use these to make what I intend to make?

I mean, I could drop 400 dollars on a temp controlled hotplate, but it seems a little excessive if all I'm going to do on it is make soup and fry steaks...

take your hobby shit to /diy/

This is a technology thing... Hence... /G/... Also, I already posted there...

Is your oven really under 10Amps?
>>

Well, it's a pretty tiny hotplate. Doubt it'll exceed 10 amps, and if it does, it'll probably go up to 15.

now nobody's going to help.

Also worth mentioning we run at 220vac in this country

It's a mechanical relay, not SSR.
Do not trigger it too frequently (e.g. no more then once per 10s) ant it will do the job.
But it wont be suitable for 24/7 operation.

Just drop school.
If you can't use Arduino you don't even deserve to waste your time.
That's pretty pathetic in general

check wattage, divide by 220 and you have approximate maximum current draw.

Just get a proper SSR dude, they're like $2 from China.
