No, they're gimmicky gadgets. After the first years when the aayyyePaahhhd came out revolutionising again ( ! ) the world of computing, it pretty much all faded back into irrelevance.

I like mine. It helps me keep mentally separated from work and not-work. I work on my Thinkpad, I do everything else on my gaming PC and my tablet. If my Thinkpad is out, I am working. The tablet is comfy for laying in bed and reading ebooks, streaming videos, whatever... It never leaves the house though.
