>achieved bandwidth: 49.79GB/s
>IMC capable of 97%+ efficiency on reads
>people claimed Zen would have a weak memory controller
Wew

here is a pick of the default jedec standard of the kit. kit is F4-3200C14D-16GFX

Yeah the Piledriver memory controller was bretty bad, but then people forgot AMD spent the last four years making fuckin APUs which required better memory controllers. This is only a bit better than Excavators.

B-but Mr.shekelstein told me ryzen would never get above 2400. Why would he lie to me?

It's the same as Trident Z 8GB+
Speaking of, I've got some 3000MHz ram, how safe is that to OC to 3200? raise the timings and bump the voltage and I'd be fine?

that's good to know. seems like any gskill samsung based kit will run well on ryzen.
though i do wonder why i've seen a few people on overclock.net have trouble running their samsung based gskill kit at 3200mhz. like they couldn't even post with it at 3200.

its its samsung you have a very high chance of being able to run it at 3200mhz by simply increasing the ratio from 30 to 32. you might need to raise the timings a bit. if its samsung it most likely be a cas 14 3000mhz kit so you could try cas 15 with a 32 ratio. 1.35v's should be enough for anything above 2666mhz. give 32 at cas 14 a try and go from there.
