I have been offered 2 EVGA GTX 660 2GB GPU's for 110 dollars.
If I ran them in SLI, how would they perform? Would a comparably priced single card do better?
Any advice and thought is appreciated.

No. You can probably haggle with him a little though.

The guy says 60 for each or 110 for both. I wouldn't want to risk haggling too far and making him retract his offer. If you really think I could haggle down, what should I try?

Look up benchmarks for games you actually play. Otherwise, I'd just get a GTX 1050 if I only had $110 to spend, or an RX480/GTX1060 if I could afford to.
SLI is a hassle and support for it is only droppung. I'm not even sure two 660's could out-perform a 1050 even on games that support SLI.

It isn't even worth $110. Try $80 for both. Or tell him to fuck off and just buy a 1050. They're ancient cards with crap support from Novidya.

I wouldn't pay more than $90. Those cards are getting on a bit.

Well, the falling SLI support does bother me. Supposing I got a gtx 1050, which brand would you recommend? I'm using an Intel CPU if it makes a difference. As for money, I could go over 110, but I want to get the best graphics for the price. I'm also not nitpick about used GPU's.

I'll try to reduce him to 90 if I decide against the gtx 1050

A new 1050ti is around $150. If you can afford that it's probably the better option support wise. I was under the assumption you couldn't spend any more than that.

Any particular version of the card that really pulls ahead of the others? I've heard good things about the Asus ones.

I'm not sure, but the differences will probably be minor at that price point. I tested an EVGA and it was decent.
Alright. Ill just wait a week or 2 and buy a 1050.
Thanks guys.
