Why do I still have to spend $500-$1000 for enough storage space for my NAS full of porn, Jackie Chan movies and cartoons?

I see the highest capacity drive currently is a 16TB drive by Samsung: https://petapixel.com/2015/08/15/samsung-16tb-ssd-is-the-worlds-largest-hard-drive/ because google said it was.
