help mangs, this is really troublesome
dual boot with windoes 7 for years now, suddenly it decided to make a boot coup, and its doing it every time now...
it begins by simply booting into windows and doing whatever, I don't noticed anything different going on, next itme I boot I get bios "CSM error" this is related with boot compatibility method, there is nothing I can do there,
next time it just boots to windows automatically and there are no entries of other options available
note: I'm using rEFInd and boot EFI on both system, afaik the ESP partition is still alive
I can change it back according to http://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/bootcoup.html
but next time I use windows again another coup happens... what can I do?

hit Delete or F2 Repeatedly as it boots up, even if nothing is showing on your monitor yet. Hold the key down if you have to.

I can enter bios and recover boot,
that is not the issue, the issue is that windows keeps disappearing with uefi boot entries so it has no other option besides booting windows
bump
if it matters in any way, the only thing I did that could have trigger is installing HP printer driver and suite
HELP?
anyone?

Install Gentoo.
so no clues at all from /g/?
no wonder your post made no sense
"boot coup" is a term some guy made up, chances are most of the people seeing this thread had no idea what you were on about

You're having windows problems.
Installing gentoo will geniunely get rid of your windows problems.
Windows is only for virtual machines anyways.

I dual boot with Arch loonix, the only point of this thread existing is the dual boot

fair enough, I thought it would be a more popular term, not like there is any other term to define this...
