I got this baby, the far left one.
Worth every penny.

For the smaller tools sure. I like the Skeletool.
Gerber Compact Sport 400 here. Love the small size - and one handed opening.
> $10 knife
> $3 screwdriver
> $5 pliers
> $3 bottle opener
etc
is better than an expensive multi tool

but what if i need all of the tools at once and am in a space too compact for a toolbox?

I honestly think Swiss Army knives are more of a novelty than actual tools.
Just too small and awkward for actual use with mediocre knives on them.
A decent Leatherman is a much better tool for actual work.

Gerber is cheaply made overpriced trash and you should feel bad.

then you are over prepped for where you are going. If you needed all those tools you would have brought a toolbox, no one carries a bunch of tools around hoping they can fix something that randomly needs fixing

I use my Victorinox Champ all the time

This one is more /g/ related with its Torx tools.
To make it perfect I would replace the bottle-opener/can-opener with scissors (to cut little wires and plastic hose clamp).

I am somewhat drawn to this new general, and is the first time I see it.
Just ordered an LM Squirt PS4 to use as an EDC instead of my Vic SwissChamp
