Seriously, does such a thing even exist? Is it possible for one to acquire a 1920*1440 monitor?
I fell for the 4:3 meme for coding and stuff, but I don't wanna have a shitty-ass resolution.
Pic unrelated.

Plenty of old CRTs, anon

What about something that can fit on my desk and doesn't cost a small fortune?
Because from my understanding, old CRTs are either crap, or really expensive.

If you're looking for a high res 4:3 LCD your best bet is probably a medical monitor, which will most likely cost more than a good CRT. New prices are 5 figures.
>1600 x 1200
crazy fucking expensive though

for some reason the tech market just follows one meme after another without any regard for variety. it used to be every display you could buy was 1024x7686, then everything was 16:9 1080p, and now it's the 4k meme.
god help us

>1024x7686
That's one tall monitor

Nah, this looks right. It's to scale.

I'm tempted to buy a 1920x1200 and just blackbar it down to 1600x1200.

looks dope as hell desu
>>59628131
Get a 2560x1440 monitor, and put black tape over approximately 1/4 of its width.

*exactly 1/4
