Been meaning to get green and amber LEDs for all of my BRIGHT BLUE LED devices for a while now, but I've been lazy about it.

Could always use a piece of paper or tape to cover the led, but I rather do it properly.

I happen to absolutely love the art of Arne Niklas Jansson.

Pic related is if Commodore bundled a 3 button controller with the early Amiga. This would have removed one of the issues of the platform, the limited controller options, by making 3 buttons standard.

>>
>>59623974
lel, my parents have something really similar. I borrowed it for some time b/c did not have a working oven.

>>59624255
I've used it for plenty of cooking. It is convenient and stuff but it seems to be worse than a regular oven for some things, like baked goods. It seems to be harder to make dough etc things really crispy - somehow it seems to keep everything a lil bit more moist. Sometimes I could compensate for this w/ lowering the temp and keeping the food in longer.

So not very good for pizzas, for example, it can be hard to get a pizza with a really crispy crust.

Works the best for chicken and some other meat products, I find, like ribs. Works well for most frozen products. Cooking potato always worked ok, but needed a relatively long cooking time. Would avoid using it for baking pastry.

Good stuff.

Is this a real thing? Or just a joke about Lenovo?

I've noticed with quite a few thinkpads that they smell a bit like manure. The ones that come to mind right now was an R500 that a customer brought me, and my own W500. The smell I've noticed on these machines makes me think the stinkpad thing is real. I'm not against getting another thinkpad tho.

I've never recieved any comments about its smell from my vlose friends and I made my best friend smell it and he didn't think too much of it.
>>
>>59625405
>Is this a real thing? Or just a joke about Lenovo?
I dunno about him but for me its just a joke about how I (and many others) always acquire them used. And that they're often (literally) over a decade old. My thinkpads have never smelled to any noticeable degree.

Chinkpad is the joke name on Lenovo.

I buy mine clean anon, most of my Thinkpads were probably purchased for an executive to fly on a trip somewhere and show a presentation, carefully put away, and never used again.

I snub my nose at smelly cum-encrusted Thinkpads. Patience is a virtue.

My new 755CX was dusty as hell but it cleaned up beautifully. Pic is before cleaning.
>>
>>59625517
Smelling around, it seems like it's coming from the rubber the hdd sits in. I don't really notice it unless I get really close to that area tho. Had this for over a year and the smell still isn't gone. The onion smell that my mac mini had went away after about a month. Bought that used years ago.

It's not, it's incredibly well designed and the software is amazing, the only thing that sucks about it is obviously the price. It's not that powerful, basically can't do more than a netbook running some DAW, but the way the designed it makes it so much fun to work with, the most logical use for it is using it as a ''sketchbook'' and exporting your songs to MIDI to use them inside a proper working environment later on. Personally i'd say 300$ would be a good price for it, but that won't happen.

There used to be a free service called AvantGo that would let you read offline news articles on your Palm OS device, though it only supported a few dozen sites. Every morning I would sync my PDA and read the New York TImes or BBSpot's unfunny shit while eating breakfast.

The service shut down around 8 years ago.
