whats better, gaming on a 144hrz 1080p monitor or a 60hrz 4k monitor?
also, when upgrading what should be your highest priority?
gpu, cpu, or monitor?
if you upgrade your gpu you might be bottlecked by your cpu.
if you upgrade your monitor, you might not have a gpu that can take full advantage.
and cpu's might not show much improvement depending on how old your current cpu is.
thinking about upgrading my current build, but im not really sure if its worth is yet.
CPU: i7 3770
GPU: sapphire R9 390
Monitor: Acer G276HL 60hrz
it can run brood war and quake 3, no?
144hz is nice but unless you play fps it's only a cosmetic upgrade, 4k on the other hand is pretty nice if you want a large display

144hz is good for esports garbage and that's about it.
4k 60 by far
OP, can you post your full specs? Cause it depends on more than just your CPU and GPU ... How many RAMS,are you running on a SSD, are you using RAID... Those affect performances when playing games.

1440p do that with Vega or 1070
Nice specs.
Srsly, nice. What can i say? If you want to upgrade your speed even more, you might want to create a raid 0 with another SSD except that...unless you wanna play VR,dont get anything else. If you wanna play VR,you might wanna double the RAM.
Watercooling system i presume?

144hz if you play fast-paced games, 4k if you prefer relaxed atmospheric games.

Whatever is the weakest. Usually GPU if you play games.
>CPU: i7 3770
>GPU: sapphire R9 390
Hardly worth upgrading. If you have a buyer willing to pay good price for what you have, so you can make a cheap jump to 7700K/Ryzen & GTX1070, but it's hardly worth it.

Neither.
144hz 4K is the best
