How do I make sure to download windows 7 64 bit from the iso? I downloaded and burnt to a cd the win 7 iso which I guess is for both 64 and 32 bit versions and did a clean install booting from a cd.
But it installs as 32 bit, do I have to re-download from the same iso CD again and specify 64 bit somehow? Or do I need a new iso

The ISO is either 32 bit or 64 so you have the wrong one. Here's all the W7 ISOs so find what you need.
if it's a 32/64 multi dvd, then you probably select it before the ugly windows logo comes in (bootloader), or you select it from the install window (win 7 prof x86, win7 prof x64)
you probably got wrong iso
or
be retarded for skipping the choice.

Im downloading a win7 iso from my college's website, bc its free, its listed as this;
Windows 7 Professional with Service Pack 1 32/64-bit (English)
being both 32 and 64 bit I guess, but it only downloads one iso, which when I mount to CD and boot from installed 32 bit. Must be something with the iso then? maybe ill have to download a cracked win 7 iso from tbp,
theres also an option for win 10 education edition, is that shitty?
