I found a TV lying in the street. I doesn't turn on, and upon inspection it seems to be missing the speakers, but everything else looks fine, no ribbon cables broken or disconnected, no blown caps either.
What should I look for /g/?

To be fail, it does turn on and the little led flashes, but it doesn't seem to show anything.
if no LEDs or backlight comes on, look at the power stage.

Get a flash light and play video through it, most likely the led backlight. Shine the flashlight on the screen.

Eureka
There's image but not backlight
So I dug up the TV to the backlight
How do I make sure the strips are bad? Anyway I can test them?
Also there are scratches on the inside, it seems it has been repaired or at least attempted to before.

We have a board dedicated for this stuff, they will help you.
Also RAID that shit unless you wanna deal with bedbugs.

These capacitors are blown as fuck. They released as much cream as the futas in cum inflation threads on /d/.
Replace these capacitors with very similar capacity ones and it should work fine as long as you don't fuck up the polarity.
It's not that hard.
Do it, do it for papa Rossmann.
