What mouse you got /g/?
My g400 is in need of replacement because the cable comes out of place. Is there a modern day equivalent of the g400?
>>
There is chink shit for like 10$
>>
>>59597731
g403 is good. Also you may try zowie.

This, the g700 or g700s.
They work wirelessly or with cable, the cable is a micro usb so you can change it if you are the demigod of destruction of cables.
Note that this is not wireless only, if you plug the cable it will go like a high performance wired mouse. (I used the wireless function twice in 2 years).
The grip is like your old g400, a little more confortable but more sagomated.
>>
>>59597779
Do those buttons on the LMB get in the way?
>>
>>59597731
just got a g602 to replace a g402. nothing was wrong with it, but the wireless and more buttons is useful.

Just bought this, getting used to it.

Only gripe is that I tend to accidentally right-click a lot.
>>
>>59597771
Just bought the g403. Seems like the easiest replacement
>>
I ordered a G300S for 30€. Did I do good?

G403 etc were way too expensive, like minimum 70€.
>>
>>59597861
>tfw that's my main mouse
>tfw got one for work too
the benefit it no one else knows how to use it. I do CAD drawings sometimes and it's much more accurate to move small amounts than a laser.
>>
>>59597892
The shape of that mouse looks dodgy my dude. It should last you a couple years to come either way though even if you choose to go with the proper patrician taste mouse; the g403 after you realise how bad that one is.
>>
>>59597731
I'm still rocking my g400s which fix that cord issue. I'm sure you can still buy brand new g400s off eBay or Mabye look into getting the new g402 or the g403 pro which it's has the more traditional shape
>>
If you still have warranty on it Logitech will ship you one for free. Alternatively you can do what I did and just take apart a cheapo Dell mouse or something with a sturdier cable and replace it yourself, like I did. Still working flawlessly 5 years later.
>>

I've seen this meme mouse pop up many times before. Is the accuracy really that good?

Like can you draw a nearly perfect circle in mspaint? If so can you post pic?
>>
Another G400

Thank god it doesn't have gaymer lights or anything. A lot of eBay sellers think it's old shit and sell it for $20
>>
>>59599117
I tried drawing a circle and can't to save my life, but I've only used the mouse for a total of an hour or so. I bought it because using regular mouses for so long started to hurt my wrists.
>>
G600 because being able to switch tabs with my thumb is god tier. It doesnt look too gaymer if you have the leds off too.
>>
>>59599117
The entire management team in my office use them, and it nearly completely mitigates RSI in your mouse hand.

MX Master, super comfy and the automatic fast scrolling is cool. I can't really find an use for the thumb scrollwheel though.

I replaced my G502 with a G403 and...

G403 > G502

That metal scroll wheel on the G502 gave me fucking blisters on my fingers. Fuck that shit. I love my rubber scroll wheel now. Also the G403 doesn't look like alien shit
>>
Steelseries Sensei and MX Master
Don't like the communication lag that bluetooth has, if I run IntelBurnTest, the SS Sensei stutters a little bit, but the master seems to just wait its turn in the CPU priority level.

This seems to be true to intensive games and the like.
>>
>>59599419
Problem is rsi is a meme and a lie to sell products.
Have you had problems with rsi yourself?, do you know anybody with rsi?
>>
get a wmo and see what a real mouse is
>>
>>59599988
Not the anon you're responding to, but I did get rsi before, albeit from repeatedly using power tools at work. Pain was so intense it would wake me up several times a night, and I could barely use a computer for more than 15 minutes.
It all calmed down when I left my job, but I've been careful with that shit since then.
>>
>>59599988
- a former coworker (just sort of deals with it, doesn't have a lot of manual dexterity)
- a current coworker (although it might be from playing guitar not computer mouse)
- my mom (literally from playing thousands and thousands of games of FreeCell, had to get surgery)
>>
I got a Performance MX for my mac, shit lags sometimes and glitches around the screen. What giveS?

G700s at home, G700 at work.

I don't do any gaming with it but it's great for browsing and modeling. Buttons next to LMB: Page Up, Page Down, Ctrl + W.
Four side buttons: Home, End, Copy, Paste.
Left/Right Scroll Clicks: Previous Tab, Next Tab.

The worst thing about the mouse is the battery life, but I finally got a battery charger with a pack of eneloops, so that's not really an issue anymore.

MX Master here. Best mouse I've ever used, although my pinky feels a little awkward with it.
Gestures using the thumb button are great, scroll wheel on the side is useful for viewing and editing large pictures.
Originally bought it to use alongside my Roccat Kone XTD+ as a mouse to bring along with my laptop to work and whatnot, but it wound up just replacing the Kone entirely.

>>59599912
Have you tried using Logitech's Unifying adapter for the MX Master instead of Bluetooth ?
I've heard lots of complaints about Bluetooth being practically useless on this mouse, though I never heard of (or experienced) issues using the Unifying adapter it came with.
>>
>>59597861
Same mouse as me m8, been using it for a year or so. It's comfy as hell. Gamertards will post their autistic 10 button shits though.
>>
>>59600700
how long does the battery last for you before dropping from 2nd to the last light?
i have to charge this thing twice a week already
>>
>>59600747
Dunno, I don't keep check on the lights. I just stick a cable in it when it abruptly dies on me because Logitech's software refuses to give me a notification for low battery, which is about once a week under very heavy use.

WMO master race reporting in.

Switches are feeling different after all these years, I will solder in new Omrons soon.

Anything but the Zowie EC1-A is an objectively wrong answer.
>>

>Cad drawings
>mouse precision
Dude use the mesurements ffs and stop modeling like a pajeet

Or use a software with designated dpi profiles for each program

Got a ouroboros and using it at 1800-2300 dpi range in modeling (and 2300 is for zbrush stuff where you need precision cuz its clay modeling) have profiles for adobe fps rts and general with macros and shit
Once you set them up, its comfy
>>
>>59597731
I wanted a replacement for this mouse too and tried multiple, and settled on the Mionix Castor.
>>

it just werks
>>
>>59597779
i have the g700s good mouse

no not for me personally

my thumb sometimes pushes the side ones by accident when lifting the mouse though, i had to deactivate them

>>
>>59597963
This, I hpard them for the next decades, still, my first g400 is still alive after 6y
>>
or just buy a replacement cable on ebay ...
>>
>>59597867
I started using the g500 in 2010, switched to g400 when I realized that I wanted an optical mouse. I want to say I bought my g403 in january, and it really is great.
>>
>>59599879
I got a wireless 403 2 weeks ago, comfiest mouse ever. Battery life is really good if you disable the rgb shit.
>>
>>59597779
I have the G700s, can confirm it's pretty great. The included battery dies after a short while, but it's replaceable.
>>
>>59599879
Got G502 few days ago, don't know why people hate the scroll wheel. Feel much better than G402 and all of my previous mouse.
>>
>>59604208
I literally just told you why I hated the scroll wheel. Other than that, I thought the design and feel of the G502 was great. I just like the G403 better now.
