Too many gays and hipsters and 3DPD love OSX, no thanks.

await the revelation

macos is really great but muh games
I did dual boot for about two weeks until I realized I never booted macos and then when back to winbotnet only

with a graphics card like mine, you'll never have to worry about which platform plays games better- you just can't play any.
OSX UI is fucking crap. Otherwise it's decent but I'm a winfag for life. I'm in too deep.b

I bought an iMac G3 at a rummage sale and realized that I'd been blindly shitting on Mac OS X for years only to find out that even 10.1 was better than Windows 7
>>59589622
>not having a separate windows box only for games to avoid botnet
>not having a clean windows 7 install in a VM with the virtual network disconnected for the odd windows-only program
Are you poor or something?

how often do you actually need anything that's windows only, I got everything anyone could ever possibly need

I realized this a few months before the release of windows 10. I had win7 at the time and win8 was utter dogshit. searched for alternatives. I looked at my phone which was an iPhone 5 and I thought 'this is a pretty decent phone and its by apple, lets check out their computers'.
looked at the keynote where they previewed Yosemite and I was legitimately blown away by how sophisticated OSX looked. take 10 minutes and really look at OSX: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnR9RkQkYBY&t=2m38s
bought a used 2013 iMac off local classifieds, fell in love with the OS. I had been using MS software since dos and never have I felt more attached to my computer after getting a Mac. its like 'this is my machine'. all my photos were there, my calendars, my reminders my notes, my messages my profile picture even showed up. I didn't have to do a single thing accept log into my iCloud account.
I was finally home.

I realized it was Linux before the overwhelming majority of computers in every major segment (I think personal computers, not only desktop) ran it.
Arguably one good thing is other OS can exist.

I use OSX because it's essentially a usable linux distro. It's got exactly what I need, plus all the usability and compatibility that linux lacked and windows had.
