Waiting on some sleeved cables from Icemodz to complete it, but finished the loops yesterday
>look what my moms husband bought me!!!!
>>59581715
amd gahnoo fags please leave
Not as blue irl
Waiting on ryzen 5
16gb ddr4
b350 mobo
Modular PSU
>>59581865
What's that lower bit you got cooled m8
>>59582003
Intel 750 Series SSD
>>59581888
amd isn't free too, you asswipe.
>>59582030
I'd question buying an intel ssd, but the rest looks fantastic.
how many rads and how big?
>>59582166
two rads, one 280mm and one 360mm
reposting current guts
contemplating cutting some glass and making my own panel for the side
I need to take a new picture, but I'll wait until after I upgrade to Ryzen.
I'm waiting for more information about the best RAM kits. I'd like to get something that's at least stable on 3000Mhz, preferably 3200.
>>59583235
>Noctua
my nigga
>>59583235
is that meme cooler worth it's price if I don't care about noise, but I care for great overclocked cooling? How does it fare against custom waterloops?
>>59583235
I'm also contemplating upgrading my 2400MHz ram to 3000 or 3200MHz, and preferably doubling the capacity aswell while I'm at it.
I'm, still on stock BIOS but all motherboard manufacturers have pushed like 10 beta bioses in the last couple of weeks, and we're just now seeing the first of them get labeled as official releases (atleast for B350 chipsets). I'm holding off flashing right now because I don't have any problem with my board, maybe in a couple of weeks when the frequency of updates dies down.
>>59581618
You fucking primate that gpu worth a more than your bloodline
>>59583627
A custom water loop will always perform better, but the benefit of the NH D15 is the simplicity and reliability of air cooling.
It's the best air cooler you can get though, and is silent with my 2500k at 4.6Ghz
>>59583834
I know it will perform better, but is the difference that big to justify it, if i'm going just for overclocked cpu cooling?
7 year old case
5 year old cpu/ram
2 year old gpu
still does everything I need.
>>59l583764
looks nice but why no tasty stock cooler?
>>59583764
>>59583887
well I fucked that up.
>>59583864
I would say custom loop isn't worth it, unless you are into maintaining those kind of stuff.
If you're just cooling the CPU, go with air. If you're doing the CPU plus 2 or more gpus then I'd say it's worth it.
>>59583898
are there other similar air coolers that will make more noise but give better temperatures?
>>59583911
No, it depends how hard you run the fans. You could turn the fans up to 80% on the D15 and it'd be noisy as fuck.
It really isn't worth it at the end of the day. What are you trying to cool?
>>59583235
Currently, G.Skill 3200MHz 14-14-14-34 seems to be the memory of choice for Ryzen.
Most X370 motherboards can support it now.
>>59583934
Sounds good mate, you got a link? Doesn't look like they're available in Australia.
>>59583929
does it come with the 1500 RPM fans by default or the 1200 RPM ones? It's that there are some 140mm fans - albeit much more noisy - that can push more air than noctua's
>>59583984
Any of the F4-3200C14D-16GTZ kits should do.
You don't need the AMD specific stuff, Trident Z works just fine.
If you can get your hands on the G.Skill Flare X version, it has been validated on the Ryzen platform, but it's super rare at the moment.
The Flare X 3200MHz kits are basically the same as the 8/16GB Trident Z kits, just AMD validated.
>>59584030
F4-3200C14D-32GTZ are fine too. They're just the 2x16GB kits. You will definitely want a 2x16 kit if you need 32GB of RAM, as 4x8GB is still unstable in dual channel mode.
>>59581865
>buying presleeved cables
Might as well buy a prebuilt PC aswell.
>>59584058
>buying pre made thermal compound
>might as well buy a prebuilt PC aswell
this is how you sound, why would he waste his own time and money to do a possibly half assed job if someone else can do it way better? and yes, sleeving cables is much more risky than just mounting big boy's lego
>>59584030
I can get these, but they're all below 3000Mhz
>>59584094
They're guaranteed to work, but as the "Infinity Fabric" cpu core interconnect on Ryzen is linked to the RAM speed, you see large performance increases when using faster memory.
>>59584058
Sometimes I just don't want to spend hours of my time sleeving cables, and would rather have someone else do it for me.
I pay the person (or company) for their time spend doing the work I don't want to, and use the time I saved doing things that I do want to do, or use it to make back the money I paid to have my cables sleeved.
Sometimes people make up a bunch of sleeved cables in anticipation of people buying them, so that people can just pick the ones they want, and get them much faster than having them specifically made.
>>59584167
Higher speed ram = higher speed fabric = faster data transfer between CCX-s.
>>59584094
Go check your motherboard ram compatibility list, you might find something that clocks 3200mhz+.
>>59583887
Be Quiet sent me a free AM4 mounting bracket and I already had the Dark Rock Pro 3 since earlier
The stock cooler is really good though, quiet even when stress tested
>>59581902
>Not as blue irl
Then stop wasting money on ricing your computer and buy a decent camera.
>>59583815
?????
>>59581865
I think one of your RAM modules just died.
Have fun waterfag
>>59581875
No one remembers efg. You're sorrounded by 12 year olds.
>>59581875
>efg is as old as most people on here
>>59587802
i remember efg, faggot.
>>59586232
10$ led kit
$500 decent camera I would just on take pictures of my computer,
Yea that sounds like a prudent way not to waste money
Still waiting for some "paint" work to finish.
