I'm trying to dual boot linux with windows 10, but the installation keeps failing and I can not figure out the issue. If i install my iso on a virtual machine it works, so it's not the iso itself. But when i try to dual boot it from usb the installer crashes at the installation of the grub2 package. I have tried everything I can find online.
Is there anyone who had this issue and was able to resolve it?

dumb win toddler

could be a legit problem with efi
use it in a vm. dual booting is a meme with modern hardware. not only is it completely pointless but it's also a pain in the ass even when it works seamlessly.

First issue I had was indeed with grub-efi-amd64-signed, it always gave that as the package that failed, but i managed to solve that. Now he just says grub2 failed to install.

>install windows
>shrink partition
>install distro
>no issues anywhere
