It used to be that you could view all comments in a page without videos or ads. Only the raw reply chains.
It used to be that you sort the comments.
Once they took that away could could still access all comments "secretly" by using the page in the url /all_comments/.
Why the fuck doesn't the world's premiere video sharing network have sortable fucking comments?
They are a gold mine for content creators. I want to be able to sort them by word count. The longer a comment is, the bigger the chance it resembles an in-depth criticism vs. the static noise of spam and adhom exchange.
I want to be able to sort by user, date, region, character count, thumbs.
This should be possible? Why isn't this the case? Is there some sort of browser plugin that accomplishes this?

It all started with the destruction of 5 star ratings and replaced it with upvote/downvote crap.

I miss being able to ctrl+F through thousands of comments to see how many people repeated certain stock phrases or pushed certain ideas.
Youtube is keeping this shit to themselves. The cunts. I bet they sell the data with a limited license for mad coinage to companies that pay up front for a quote.

You'll become a red one day, believe me, son.
Why the fuck would you want to read youtube comments?
