I bought 2666mhz ram for my 1700 and now I kinda regret not buying faster ram. How far can I OC it?

Probably not even 100-200MHz.

Seems like your ram is some of the worst trash available. The timings are trash for 2666mhz. That's what you get for saving money in the wrong place. I got myself 2133 13-13-13 ram and OC'd it to 3000 15-16-16.
I'd still try to go for 3000 with very relaxed timings if you can.
Corsair uses SK Hynix dogshit so you're fucked. It ain't the magic Samsung ram that you could clock 1000Mhz over stock

I'm not OP but I don't know how to read those numbers. Is this decent?

It's on 3200 MHz.

its meh
this is decent
>>59579887
wrong
2666-3200 is the most efficient for ddr4
higher/lower negatively effects most applications

>>59580234
no, you need a single rank Samsung kit
>>59580644
will it work at all though?
>>59580977
at 2666mhz yes
>>59581010
that's fine then. better than the 400mhz build i have now

CCX interconnect speed relies on RAM frequency. Performance growth between 2666mhz and 3200mhz is a good 10%
