>not having a 2 in 1 in the current year
But Anon, I already have a 2-in-1...
Make it a 3-in-1.

show me a 2 in 1 with quad core cpu and good gpu that doesn't throttle to shit nor it was made hundreds of years ago, while having an acceptable number of ports

Why should I waste money and add extra weight and bulk for dumb features that I would never use?

Surface is cool but that shit has to kick in its tiny sad fan CONSTANTLY.

>have 24h battery life
>things a $250 laptop can do
>things a $700 all-in-one can do
FTFY.

No way is it comfortable at all having it in your lap with the keyboard and kickstand. You're constantly afraid of it falling if you move just a muscle.
Also you'll never use Windows 10 as a tablet. You'll just use your Android phone instead, or your iPhone if you're rich and hate webms.
It is powerful though I will admit.

Surface with a gnome desktop is maximum comfy

A smartphone can do all of this as well but usability is also a thing to consider.
If you do you'll find that 2 in 1s can be put into the thrash.

I had one, switched back to a Laptop for being productive and a small tablet (7.9") for media consumption and sometimes reading/reviewing docs. I have a data-only card that usually sits in the laptop because thats what I use mostly when I'm on the go. I switch it to the tablet if I want to bring only that.

Was gonna do something like this, I can't even think why you would need a 2 in 1 laptop, seems completely pointless.

Do you exclusively use your phone in landscape mode?
I would of any of them had decent Linux support
