I bet you're Australian.
I'm in Idaho, Boise-Nampa Metro Area with CableOne
I have 200down something pathetic up. Dunno can't load the website atm.
How fitting.
I've been a subscriber for like 6 years, always to the middle of the road mainstream thing then they started flirting with bandwidth caps. Used to be 50down and then like 50GB a month with some charges per 10GB but they kept fucking around with that then it became 50down and like 150-200GB a month. Well with that came the three strikes rule, if you went over 3 times ever they would either upgrade you to another plan or kick you. So now I have a 105 dollar plan that is faster than my home network with shitty upload speeds and a cap at 700GB which I can hit with ease by using youtube and heaven forbid a video service as well as my usual day to day downloading.
Best part is... I have 2 other options Rise Broadband, a fixed wireless provider with fucking terrible reviews and DSL which at my address offers a whopping 1.5mbps for 30 bucks.

God awful upload because it's DOCSIS, but otherwise really nice connection.
>tfw my gateway got BTFO by lightning or something yesterday and now it either doesnt work at all or gives dial up tier speeds.
Only 7 more hours till i can call them to bitch about it.

Which test is the best?
Anyway, here is Comcast cable internet in San Francisco. They offer up to a gigabit but it's really expensive. Sonic and Google offer fiber connections but availability is pretty limited right now.

According to me reading shit online (aka not a reputable source at all) this is caused by a damaged cable getting wet. Oh boy. Cant wait to try and describe that to the tier 1 drone.
