So I know I'm a faggot for using a Mac, but I bought a rMBP 13 about 4 years ago (late-2013) because of the screen, I don't really mind it, but I feel like I could do better.
So my two questions are, about how much could I still my mac for? And what would be a good laptop to buy for the money I get from that?
Some details to narrow down what I'm looking for, I'm a college student in arts major (I know it's stupid, but I'm trying to do architecture later on) so I do photo and video editing, also stuff like indesign, although I can use the school computers in a pinch. I don't do much gaming, but sometimes I play shit like shit like csgo and maybe dark souls. I have a console tho, so again not a huge thing. I know people will recommend a desktop but something portable would be preferred, at least until I have a stable housing situation.
Is it worth it to buy new? I've been looking at thinkpads, but I feel like there's not enough power there.
How is something like pic related?

Op has a fine history of making poor decisions. Keep the MacBook op, might as well justify the purpose.
