So let's say I finish reading SICP
What do I read next?
Write your own os in Lisp
>>59537215
Probably K&R, it's famous but irrelevant like SICP.
Learn classical mechanics
New Apple design book
>>59537215
>implying you will ever finish it
Depends.
Did you like the syntax?
Then you might look into "Land of the LISP" and git gud at CL. Or learn some Racket. Or if you want something more contemporary read "Clojure for the brave and the true" and become a Clojure coder.
Syntax was kinda OK?
Then you might learn some JavaScript, "Eloquent JavaScript" is a good book.
You want to go down the rabbit hole, but not with the LISP syntax?
Then read "Learn you a Haskell for great good".
Uhh, Haskell is too complicated?
Then read "Learn you some Erlang for great good".
(right, they both have almost the same title, don't ask me..)
Come back when you done those.
