Anything with a weird non-conventional UI.

Even if the software works as intended, the UI makes it seem untrustworthy and spyware-ish.

Especially anti-virus and video conversion software tend to have this cancer in them.

Gonna get shit for this, but as far as usability, layout, and user rights policy goes, fucking Protools.

Holy shit, if it weren't the "industry standard" I'd never touch this shit, again. Takes literal months to train on properly, and damn near everything in it can be done with several stock softwares that cost < $100. With plug-ins, and a proper set of VST's, you can do things cheaper and faster in the majority of other DAWs

macOS .dmg's do not have this problem

one of the main reasons why i switched to macOS was the easy torrenting of adobe products. Its so cancerous nowadays on windows even when you plaster your hostfile with 100000 IPs to block Adobe from ruining yor installation theres a plethora of folders and files stored somewhere in your retarded windows User folder that ruin your life randomly.

Its such a fucking mess i couldnt take it anymore

>macOS
>torrent .dmg
>double click .dmg
>drag icon into application folder

it just werks. Its so fucking comfy. When you realize how much time you have wasted in your life because of windows memes you feel really bad but at least you switched to macOS and save time and energy from now on.

Utorrent is perfect example of how capitalists took a perfectly good program and ruined it by trying to suck as much profit from it as possible.

Its funny how it backfired on them. Now no one uses it anymore and they get $0 profit from it.

All the greedy fucks had to do was sell it for $10 or $20 and people would have happily paid it or donated to it.

Photoshop has a lot of tools aka presets by default so people don't have to make the settings themselves.
There's like, 3 things that are actually only on photoshop that no one uses except for the very skilled and longtime professionals that actually know their tools properly, but all everyone hears is "oh professionals need to use photoshop!", which isn't necessarily false but it completely ignores the circumstances.
But legit, the ui is cancer. I have no idea why anyone thought that was a good idea. That's hardly a decent reason to pay for a product over the free version, but it's still a valid criticism.

But the "$600/year" is for literally everything Adobe has go offer, anon. It's not just PS or AE or one app, it includes: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Auditiom, Dreamweaver, Animate, and a lot of other less known apps. If you're in the line of work which requires editing software, or if you're a YouTuber (either professionalally or hobbyist) then it's really awesome to get literally everything for $50/Mo. I spend more than that on coffee in a month, so assuming you've got a job and are above the age of 14, it's not that much, and it can really be worth it.

I assume you mean appdata's roaming and local directories.
The standardization is odd, but the idea is you store files specific to the system you are on in local, and files that you want to be migrate to other systems in roaming.
You keep all files in a single directory for each so "Adobe" in roaming, and "Adobe" in local.
It's not that complicated.

shut the fuck up retard

did you ever actually use any adobe produts on windows and tried to pirate them?

gl getting the latest versions of premiere, after effects to work without extensively fucking around with the folders, hostfiles only to get cucked by creative cloud

stop defending the windows users folder. It is the ultimate cancer and the reason why windows is so fucking shit.

You can't even move the user folder to another hard drive lmfao. It is impossible to do so completely. Thats how cancerous windows is.

Windows is like a kraken and a virus that infests your hardware and doesn't let go until you wipe this shit off your devices and never come back to this steaming pile of garbage.

macOS is superior in every aspect for users who rely on adobe products which is also the reason why virtually every web dev, video editor or any other content creator uses it in the industry.

It's not great, but it's not the worst thing I've ever used. Chromium is quite awful in terms of RAM usage. The lack of multi-threading in FF fucking makes me want to erupt. At least when I load up a for(;;) in FF, it just asks me if I want to stop the script with after it freezes for a bit, and doesn't just force me to have a useless tab gawking at me in the top of my browser.

Daily reminder that cool kids write their own browsers.

Bit defender is an AV. Malwarebytes is AM. They do different jobs. AV is active protection, it's always on but Bitdefender doesn't have it's own firewall. Malwarebytes is only active when you use it, unless you paid for a pro shit that includes AV.
