Simple answer is that computer science is more about the theory of computation and how to handle problems through algorithms, while software engineering is more about the architecture of software systems, and the theory and principles that go behind that.
Just my perspective on things, you want the formal definitions, compare and contrast with a Google search.

would i have a bad time if i like math and im good at it, but want to get engineering accreditation? i keep hearing about saturated job markets for computer scientists and im concerned. i figured engineering would help circumvent that but i don't want to at the risk of not learning material i would actually enjoy.
