Honestly Mint is good. The community is not as big as Ubuntu's but it's a stable quality OS and it doesn't treat you 100% like a toddler like Ubuntu does.

I find myself using the terminal more with Mint than Ubuntu. So it's nice that there are opportunities to learn. >>59521552

My first linux install to use in years, its on my shitty laptop that I'll use for studying, just installed so have not had the time to change the desktop environment yet. Plasma is nice and all but way to resorce intensive.
