Not OP, but I'd like a chair <$350 with adjustable arms (that you can rotate too) and can recline almost all the way back. Also, does pleather get uncomfortable during the summer? It sounds really comfy when it's cold but that it'll get really hot and sticky in warm weather.

Yes. It's some-assembly-required stuff like most Ikea things, the armrests are separate pieces. They attach to the base with a pair of bolts each, you can leave them off, or put them on and remove them later.
