But I agree tho the original was just full of death and suicide and nightmare inducing scenes like the firefighter clown or the blender disembowelment, or Rob trapped on the crusher conveyer, or literally the entire fucking movie...

Why aren't you picking some up? They're rare as shit and neat as fuck. Even if the Itanium wasn't the game changer Intel and HP wanted everyone to believe it was, it was still a fascinating departure from traditional hardware design and had decent performance in certain niches. HP-UX still has plenty of currently maintained free software and Linux is always an option too.

Even if you don't want one, I'm sure you could still undercut the shit out of jews on Ebay and still make it worth your while to deliver a few to good homes.

I've wanted an R8000 Indigo2 forever, they were practically desktop supercomputers if you were good with a compiler and doing something that could fit in the cache.

O2s are fucking cool too with their shared memory architecture. At least I've got a winshit Visual Workstation to play with that.
>>
>>59522631
Funny thing, I had 2. A purple and a teal..... I just never actually got a working Irix cd to install an operating system.

HAD I kept them for another 15 years I could probly throw any number of OSes on them by now.
>>
>>59522657
That sucks, wouldn't beat myself up over it though since getting your hands on IRIX without connections was probably ass back then, and who knew it was going to end up getting better.

I've got a shitty 100 MHz R4K teal box too, a little beaten up from being used as a $25,000 graphics terminal in a mine for mapping and low-end as shit except for the shitty XZ option. I'm thinking of getting some new plastics for it and using it for running mathematica models. Even destitute systems like that are still fun to put to work if you can deal with the tiny hard disks.

The clock works based on the electricity coming out of the wall. 60hz is coming out of your wall outlet. If this interests you you should pick up electronics as a hobby. A lot of things in computers will start to make sense.

Taiwanese unlicensed copies of Famicon were extremely popular in eastern europe.
In Poland we called all of them "Pegasus" but there were many different brandings and styles.

20€ is a lot for one of these.
They were dirt fucking cheap.

Until I got hands on a used german N64 somewhere around 2003-2004 it was the only console I (and majority of people in fact) ever had.

A console, two pads and a chink cartridge (that contained vast majority of famicom games) was like 10€

Yeah, only one ever made, designed by the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro (who also designed the Delorean DMC-12 and original Lotus Esprit after this). The car was fully functional and street legal, but it was only meant as a one time showoff type thing.

The interior design must've changed at some point as any more recent pictures show it as pic related. Which is a different, more "gritty dystopian future" type asethetic but just as, or perhaps more awesome.
