No bad caps visually, psu tests good with voltmeter. Powers on with atx12v disonnected. Gonna look at it closer tomorrow. I might have found a nib asus p67 for $80 on craigs anyways. Figure I can jewsell on ebay for the same or more if it won't post

Didn't all mainboard manufacturers switch to all solid capacitors a long time ago? I haven't seen a mainboard with electrolyte capacitors in long time

take a working cheap used 1155 motherboard on ebay.
try the processor.
if it doesn't work buy another one from ebay at 100 fantastidollars.
if it works, is the MB, sell it the broken one and buy a z77 or so on ebay.
