So my in-laws built a computer on just parts they had lying around and this ended up being the end result. I get terrible, terrible bottleneck and I'm pretty sure my graphics card is about to take a complete shit on me. What can I change? I don't have much disposable income but I could probably throw a few hundred dollars it this piece of shit.

On another note, and I know this is spec thread but I don't think this question warrants an entire thread. Why is it that when I open a program/game, my entire screen will sometimes jitter and glitch out? It looks like screen tearing in game, but it affects anything. I'm assuming my graphics card is fucking my shit up but I wouldn't know.

Whatever fits your budget well, I'd probably wait until AMD's Vega is released, because even if you don't like what Vega has to offer at least its release might lower existing cards prices.

As for the problem, I'd guess either driver issues or video cable issues. Reseat the video card, uninstall drivers, reinstall, see if that fixes anything. Make sure you're using DVI-D or HDMI, see if that fixes the issue.

It's noticeably smoother. My next upgrade will definitely be a 120/144Hz gsync/freesync monitor and either a GTX 1070 or whatever AMD's equivalent will be with Vega.

Pardon the slightly-high idle temp on the GPU, it's hot as fuck in my room. Still doesn't go above 72 degrees C even under intense load, though, so I'm likely fine.
