Sometimes you get to solve a really interesting problem, but it can be months between each time you get one of those. 99% of the time you're dealing with people that need help installing office or need help turning on their laptop after their battery ran out.
You could, wouldn't advise it, though. I used to do it and most clients were people with A4-tier CPUs wanting me to make their laptop faster with magic.
