Been oogling on this tablet coming out
>Lenovo Tab 4 8" (or 10") plus
>Snapdragon 625
>1920×1200
>3GB/4GB RAM
>32/64GB Storage
>USB-C
>Nougat
>8" 199$ with 4850mAh
>10" 249$ with 7000mAh
Is this the best tablet in a while coming out? Snappy 625 is pretty good. A 7k mAh battery for it will make the battery time hold forever without charging.
What do you think /g/?

Nvidia Shield with Bluetooth keyboard holder or a Thinkpad X220/t420?

Whether to get a thinkpad laptop or a nvidia shield tablet.

Looks nice but Lenovo is chink spyware. When they take over expect to get dragged out back and shot for your search history.

It's shit. Windows(/Android dualboot) tablets are the only worthwhile ones
Thinking about getting a surface pro 4, anyone have one? Thoughts?

I just cannot go 5 minutes using a tablet without having to open up Excel™ and Photoshop™. Microsoft Windows™ gives me the true freedom to do professional work on a tiny 8 inch screen using my fingers.

It's better than Android.

xD
I got a Chuwi tablet for next to nothing (CWI515), and while the tablet itself seems decent it runs windows 10, which I can't stand at all. Is there anyway to wipe windows and install a (fully working) Linux? If not, are there any tablets that do properly support Linux? I'm getting a little tired of the limitations of Android

lol
625 is not good enough.

Wait. Microsoft is sounding like they went all in on Raven Ridge since Intel can't hit good yields on the node shrink.
A ryzen 4 core with Radeon graphics would be phenomenal.

Will the bootloader be unlockable? That's a dealbreaker for me.
>>59501918
Thinkpad X220 if you don't mind the small display. It'll get better battery life, but the T420 has a larger screen and is a little more powerful (especially the i7 models).

It's too bad ASUS doesn't offer a non-LTE version of the ZenPad Z10 they sell through Verizon. I picked one up because I'm on Verizon anyway, but it's been a great tablet and I'd suggest a non-carrier exclusive version in a heartbeat. Battery life and screen quality are amazing, the 650 is a solid SOC and I don't notice any lag. Feels a lot faster than the 808 in my Moto X.

ASUS could do a better job pushing updates, hopefully it'll get 7.1, it's rumored it will but no hard confirmation.
