I just looked at the more recent issue CLOSED here:
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/5611
Apparently, it seems that adding r = 0; at line 343 in machinectl.c could have solved the bug. (((Maybe)))
Ambiguous opened issues, too: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/5616
As logind does not properly release devices when being stopped via systemctl rescue/isolate
But WAIT, there's a very hacky way to workaround this issue:
Just add ExecStop=/bin/sleep 3
L0L @ every single "member" of the Lennart Poettering fluid fan club here.

This an... Interesting thread.
You know the second issue you linked has been open for 7 hours, right? It takes time for those to get attention and get fixed.
Also: Why the Anti-Semitic imagery?

Of code wasn't shit none of this issues would exist

Microsoft makes a comfy bankroll off of far worse code than this, senore. At least with systemd we have a face to fling shit at when it's appropriate.

At least they work and get paid. You?
