Things you should watch out for - Lisps make heavy use of macros, often where they aren't necessary.

Another thing you could do is learn something like F#, which isn't that great in and of itself, but it will show you new concepts.
It doesn't have function overloading though, that's a bit awkward. It supports OOP.
