how do i learn all of this book in one day
>>59483246
Which uni OP? That's the book we used in our algorithms and data structures course.
>>59483257
a crazy one
>>59483246
What course covers the entire book?
>>59483246
that book has a lot of fluff and the proofs are very wordy there is a reason it is 700+ pages or even more afaik if you had some more days you'd probably be fine reading the basic parts of the algorithms you need to learn
>>59483246
maybe revise a bit earlier in future pleb
>>59483257
Not op but back Ohio State uses it also
>>59483246
>want to do programming
>enroll in CS
>have to learn about algorithms when any algorithm can just be copied from its code/pseudocode implementation into your own code
There's no point in learning this
>>59484524
A graduate level course on Analysis of Algorithms.
>>59485537
If you want to do only programming, by all means this isn't necessary.
OP said he's in computer science and did not say he only wishes to program. Computer science is not just programming.

What? Really? We had like 80% of the book as curriculum as part of our undergraduate class on algorithms. The remaining 20% were maybe graduate level, but surely not enough for an entire class.
>>59483246
Maybe by not leaving your revision until the night before you fucking spastic
>>59483246
Read chapter on compression algorithms.
Apply knowlege.
